I went to Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs this weekend to shoot and captured this image. When I first got to the beach he was hiding out in some bushes. 

Woodstork

Lettuce Lake Park images again! I did find another park with a lot of woodstorks so I will be posting some of those images soon. I also took some shots at the beach. 

Biodiesel!

Shameless plug for biodiesel! I make biodiesel in my shed and this was a picture my first batch. I have this image posted on my other blog! I am part of a local group of biodiesel home producers.

I have samples on my desk and drive people nuts with my non stop talking on the subject! Just ask Chad or David! :)

This is my first post from Picasa. Pretty nice application and easy to use. This was shot at lettuce lake park in Tampa. 

The chase!

Ah, sadly Lettuce Lake Park's tower is still closed! I was looking through some old images and wanted to post this image of a woodstork chasing off an egret. Egret's wind is blown out but I don't think it hurts the image well at least for me. :)

Gloomy Daisies ???

I love the contrast in the shot. I really can't remember if it was that dark or even cloudy but it seems very grey! I was happy I was able to get some of the details in the white areas of the daisies.

Spoonbill Landing

This was the best shot I got with a spoonbill on the move! The colors on these birds are just beautiful. This shot was taken at Lettuce Lake Park in Tampa.
